559 Miles: BMW i3 Gets Longest Electric Car Range

Drivers can now choose an electric vehicle offering the longest range available across Europe. BMW has introduced the i3, its first electric 3 Series saloon, using the same 800V Gen6 platform as the iX3 SUV. This new model features a 108kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt battery, beating the Mercedes-Benz EQS on distance.
