South East Water fined £30.5m for supply failures and licence breach

Water regulator Ofwat has ordered South East Water to pay £30.5 million for multiple customer service failures and breaching its supply licence. The £30.5 million penalty includes a previous £22 million fine for water supply issues between 2020 and 2023, which affected over 286,000 people.
