Trump says 'Iranians don't realise they have no cards' as talks begin
Donald Trump posted on social media that 'the only reason they are alive today is to negotiate' as the Islamabad talks got under way. Asked if he believed Iran was negotiating in good faith, Trump told NewsNation 'I'll let you know in a very short period of time.' He separately claimed the US military had begun clearing the Strait of Hormuz and that all of Iran's minelaying ships had been sunk.
