A new procedure using high-powered sound waves could treat a rare condition in identical twin pregnancies, a study found. The non-surgical treatment regulates unequal blood flow between babies affected by twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS). In a world-first, twins Nancy and Margo were born healthy after the non-invasive method sealed problematic blood vessels in their mum's womb.
