Spurs to break transfer record with £85m Fernandes deal

Tottenham have agreed a huge £85 million deal to sign midfielder Mateus Fernandes from West Ham, which will smash their previous transfer record. The player is now preparing for a medical, as Spurs beat Manchester United to his signing after they also pursued him. West Ham bosses believe Fernandes was one of last season's best young players, with potential to rival Declan Rice.
