Jet fuel cost doubles; SAS stops 1,000 April services

Many travellers will experience disruption in April as Scandinavian airline SAS plans to stop numerous services. The carrier attributed this action to jet fuel costs increasing twofold over a 10-day period due to Middle East tensions. SAS also cut "a few hundred" flights in March, mainly on domestic routes within Norway.
