Barclays faces a High Court lawsuit over its former chief's Jeffrey Epstein ties
Shareholders claim they lost roughly £2bn when the banking giant's share price dropped following revelations about former chief Jes Staley. The executive was fined £1.1m and given a lifetime City ban in 2023 for misleading the bank about the friendship.
