Young Queen's letter found in suitcase expects £4,000
A handwritten note by the late monarch, penned between 1936 and 1940, will be sold by Hansons Auctioneers in Kent on 27 February. Addressed to a former housemaid, the page features sketches of animals and inquiries about the health of pet birds and goldfish. The item was discovered recently inside a suitcase beneath a bed by the recipient's relative.
