US prosecutors have charged Raúl Castro, Cuba's former leader, with murder, which could bring closure to the victims' relatives. Raúl Castro, head of Cuba's armed forces, and five others were accused by the US government on Wednesday for the 1996 downing of two planes, an act that claimed four lives. Cuba's current leader dismissed the charges as a 'political maneuver lacking any legal foundation'.
