Heatwave shuts 845 French schools across country

More than half of France is under a red heat alert, with temperatures expected to reach 42C in some areas. The heatwave has led to 845 schools closing and another 1,800 letting pupils leave early on Monday. Around 63 million people are affected across the country, with train services also reduced.
