Passport Costs to Exceed £100 for First Time

UK passport fees will rise by around 8% from April 8, if approved by Parliament. An adult online passport will increase from £94.50 to £102, while a child's rises to £66.50. A family of four applying by post could pay up to £391. The SNP has pledged to vote against the proposals.
