United Kingdom moves to ban concert ticket resale price mark-ups
Fans could soon pay only the original ticket price when buying from resale sites, helping keep concerts and sports events more affordable. The UK government has been told to stop tickets being resold above face value, with ministers expected to make such sales illegal and also limit platform fees. Earlier proposals considered a 30% cap, but the latest plan points to a full face-value limit.
