Brits ask embassies for blonde highlights and football help
British embassies and consulates received over 328,000 requests for help last year, with some being quite unusual. These included a holidaymaker in Jordan asking where to get blonde highlights and another in Italy wanting to know where to watch a World Cup football match. The Foreign Office reminds travellers to check its advice and get insurance before calling for assistance.
