UK tells citizens to shelter after Iran attacks
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer led an urgent Cobra session on Saturday after American and Israeli aerial attacks struck Iran. The UK, which did not join the strikes, prioritises the safety of British nationals in the region. The Foreign Office instructed individuals situated in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and also the United Arab Emirates, to take immediate cover. Britain wants to avoid a wider regional conflict and insists Iran must not develop nuclear weapons.
