Eight dead: B-52 crash kills civilians, military, Boeing staff
Flights at Edwards Air Force Base were halted after a runway accident left no survivors. On Monday, a U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress went down shortly after leaving the ground during a routine test mission in California's Mojave Desert, and all eight people aboard were killed. Among those who died were government civilians, contractors and military staff, with two Boeing employees also confirmed dead.
