Nintendo Switch 2 job listing suggests cancelled VRR feature is returning
Smoother gameplay could come to more players if work on display support continues. Nintendo listed a Senior Display Engineer role that mentions variable refresh rate after removing and apologising for earlier information about docked support following its April 2025 console specifications. Handheld mode already has VRR, while PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are cited as supporting it too.
