Several injured after double-decker buses collide near Southwark Playhouse
Several people were injured after two double-decker buses collided on Newington Causeway in Southwark, London, prompting a major emergency response. Police, ambulance crews, firefighters, and an air ambulance were dispatched to the scene early in the morning. Authorities said the injuries were not life-changing or life-threatening. One bus struck the rear of another, causing it to veer into the front of the Southwark Playhouse, slightly damaging the building. No arrests have been made as investigations continue.
