60% more donations help UK renters pay bills

Many UK residents are increasingly relying on crowdfunding to cover their essential household and rent payments. GoFundMe recorded its highest number of rent-related fundraisers in April, with donations for rent support rising 60% since 2022. More than 100,000 people contribute each month to help others meet these housing costs.
