Car finance compensation could be delayed for years

Drivers hoping for car finance refunds could now wait years longer for payouts because of new legal challenges. The FCA's compensation scheme is being challenged in court by three major car lenders and a consumer group. Even if judges approve the scheme, payouts won't start until 2027, delaying compensation for many drivers.
