UK Athletics admits guilt after cage kills Paralympian
UK Athletics officially admitted to corporate manslaughter following the death of Paralympian Abdullah Hayayei. The 36-year-old father of five died in July 2017 when a heavy metal cage struck him during training at a London centre. Keith Davies, the head of sport, also accepted a health and safety charge, and a two-day sentencing hearing is now scheduled to take place in early June.
