Woman Jailed for Life After Killing Partner and Hiding Body in Garden for 15 Years
A UK court has sentenced 40-year-old Anna Podedworna to life in prison with a minimum term of 21 years for murdering her partner, Izabela Zablocka, in 2010. Zablocka, a mother of one, was reported missing after moving from Poland to the UK. The case remained unsolved for nearly 15 years until Podedworna confessed in 2025. Police discovered the victim’s remains buried under concrete in their garden, ending a long search for answers.
