Over half of carers feel overwhelmed by tasks
Many millions in the UK juggle unpaid caring with paid work, often feeling tired, stressed, and struggling with their health. Unpaid carers, such as Deb Rist from Devizes, describe their daily responsibilities as overwhelming, frustrating, and isolating. Carers UK research shows 57% of carers feel overwhelmed, and they save the UK economy an estimated £184 billion each year.
