57% public expect AI job losses cause unrest

Many people worry about future employment, as job losses from artificial intelligence could lead to civil unrest. A King's College London survey found 34% of university students believe this, with over half expecting job losses to be worse than a typical recession. Overall, 57% of the public anticipate widespread unemployment due to AI.
