Three men convicted of harassing BBC journalist over documentary

Three men convicted of harassing BBC journalist over documentary

Three members of Lighthouse group were found guilty at Stratford Magistrates Court of harassing BBC journalist Catrin Nye. Kristofer Deichler, Jatinder Kamra and Sukhraj Singh visited Nye's home three times after she presented A Very British Cult documentary investigating their group in 2023. The men held demonstrations outside BBC offices and hired a private investigator to find Nye's address. They claimed to be delivering a Bible and letter but left threatening notes. The judge ruled visits were intimidatory and retaliatory. All three will be sentenced on 2 February.
