500,000 People Chase 5,000 Ghana Security Jobs
Widespread job scarcity for young people has been highlighted by the intense competition for limited positions in Ghana. Economist Fred Dzanku spoke about this problem on Joy FM this past Thursday, March 12, stating it shows deeper economic weaknesses. He added that the country’s manufacturing sector contributes under 10% to its Gross Domestic Product.
