Trump Announces Three-Day Ukraine-Russia Truce

Fighting is set to pause for three days after Russia and Ukraine agreed to a temporary ceasefire from 9 to 11 May. Donald Trump said the deal also includes an exchange of 1,000 prisoners from each side and a halt to military action during the truce period. Kyiv and Moscow have both accused each other of breaking earlier ceasefires announced separately this week.
