Fifa boss says US World Cup visa issues "unfortunate"

Fifa president Gianni Infantino has downplayed serious visa problems for players and fans at the 2026 World Cup. He called the US refusing entry to Somali referee Omar Artan "unfortunate", and defended President Trump's handling of these issues. Artan was turned away by US immigration at Miami Airport on Wednesday after an 11-hour interrogation.
