UK launches restorative justice programme for Post Office scandal victims

A national restorative justice programme is being established for victims of the Post Office Horizon scandal, expanding support to include affected postmasters’ families. Led by the Restorative Justice Council and partly funded by Fujitsu, the initiative aims to promote healing, accountability, and dialogue beyond financial compensation. It will pilot through early 2026, offering listening sessions and training for involved institutions before a full rollout in spring 2026. A progress report is due in January.
