Suu Kyi Freed From Prison Into House Arrest at 80

Myanmar's deposed leader Aung San Suu Kyi, 80, has been transferred from prison to house arrest, according to state broadcaster MRTV and a statement from military-turned-president Min Aung Hlaing. Her son Kim Aris dismissed the move as a "calculated gesture," questioning the authenticity of the released image and calling her new location a "secret" outside world contact denied to him.
