Apple has officially made it possible to link Mac Minis and Mac Studios into clusters, turning them into powerful local AI supercomputers. Apple's new clustering technology formalises a practice developers were already doing, letting them run large AI models that need more memory. The cheapest entry to this official AI clustering starts at $1,699 for an M5 Pro mini, plus a second machine.
