US designates Palestine Action as a terrorist group in left-wing clampdown

Britain has already banned the protest network, which frequently targets UK sites linked to the Israeli defence business Elbit Systems. Donald Trump's government announced the move on Wednesday to help cut off financial support for various far-left and anti-fascist organisations. Huda Ammori, the network's co-founder, argued their work saves lives and called the American ban a danger to civil liberties.
