King Charles marks Queen’s 100th birthday
Millions across Britain are being invited to reflect on Queen Elizabeth II’s legacy as plans for a national memorial and public events were unveiled. On Tuesday, King Charles released a recorded tribute on what would have been his mother’s 100th birthday, describing her as his “darling mama” and honouring her years of service. The centenary is also being marked with memorial designs, a garden opening and a Buckingham Palace reception.
