Israel opposes US selling F-35 fighter jets to Turkey
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says a sale of stealth F-35s or their engines to Turkey would "upset the balance of power in the Middle East". Former US President Donald Trump is reportedly ready to readmit Turkey to the F-35 program ahead of Tuesday's NATO summit in Ankara. Meanwhile, Russia has apparently finished a batch of Su-35 fighters for Iran, which ordered them earlier this decade.
