Companies choosing temp staff over permanent hires
Firms are giving out more temporary job contracts these days instead of permanent roles, which makes finding a stable job tougher. Recruiters found more temporary roles offered in May, while hiring for permanent staff fell the fastest in ten months. This is because of low economic confidence and higher costs, according to KPMG and the REC report.
