Google Gemini app can now generate music from text prompts

Google has introduced a new feature within its Gemini application that allows users to generate custom musical tracks. Powered by the Lyria 3 model, the tool enables individuals to create thirty-second songs complete with lyrics and vocals simply by inputting text descriptions or uploading images. To address safety concerns regarding artificial intelligence, all audio produced includes an imperceptible SynthID watermark to verify its origin. The beta functionality is currently rolling out to adult users globally.
