Doctors' Union Faces Pay Hypocrisy Claims
The British Medical Association faces "hypocrisy" accusations after its own staff staged a strike over pay. Hundreds of BMA employees began a 48-hour walkout on Monday, rejecting a 2.75% pay rise offer, which the BMA attributed to budgetary constraints. Meanwhile, the union continues demanding a 26% pay increase for resident doctors, after rejecting a 4.9% government offer.
