31 people die as Israel strikes Lebanon

Many people, some children among them, have died in recent Israeli attacks across Lebanon's south and east. Lebanon's health ministry reported at least 31 deaths on Tuesday after Israel intensified strikes against over 100 Hezbollah sites and fighters. Repeated breaches by both factions of the US-mediated truce, which took effect in mid-April, are endangering current negotiations aimed at bringing the conflict to a close.
