UK Crypto Firms Face New Capital Rules Next Year

People using crypto services could get stronger safeguards as firms will have to meet new standards aimed at reducing risks. Britain's Financial Conduct Authority said on 30 June the rules will start in October next year, creating the country's first full framework for the sector. Companies must meet capital requirements, carry out yearly stress tests and improve consumer risk management.
