UK military survey finds 67% women face sexual harassment
A government-commissioned study involving over 90,000 UK military personnel found 67% of women and 34% of men encountered sexualised conduct in the last year. The survey reported 32% of women faced unwanted physical contact, while 8% experienced non-consensual sexual acts. The Ministry of Defence described the results as unacceptable and introduced new initiatives, including consent and misogyny training for young recruits, to tackle persistent cultural issues within the armed forces.
