Kyiv gunman kills six in rare mass shooting

Kyiv gunman kills six in rare mass shooting

Wartime Kyiv saw civilian bloodshed of a kind unheard of since Russia's 2022 invasion. A 58-year-old gunman born in Russia killed six people and wounded 14 with an automatic weapon on Saturday in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district. He barricaded himself in a supermarket with hostages before police shot him dead after 40 minutes of failed negotiations. Zelensky ordered full information released.
