Operation Epic Fury: $29B cost, 42 US aircraft damaged in Iran

Military costs from fighting in Iran have climbed after reported damage to American aircraft and drones during the conflict. A Congressional Research Service report said at least 42 US aircraft were destroyed or damaged, while Pentagon estimates placed total operational costs near $29 billion under “Operation Epic Fury”. Reported losses included one F-35A fighter jet, four F-15E aircraft and 24 MQ-9 Reaper drones.
