Google Play Store adds new battery warnings for apps

Android users can now make better choices about which applications they download and keep on their phones, helping to improve battery life. Google has begun putting new labels on its Play Store for applications using too much battery power. Apps are flagged if they hold the phone's CPU active for too long during over five percent of user sessions.
