German trains halted by nationwide IT outage
The outage left countless passengers stranded across Germany for over two and a half hours on Tuesday night. Deutsche Bahn, the national railway operator, confirmed a critical digital communication system, GSM-R, had failed. Technicians quickly fixed the issue, and services are now gradually getting back to normal after the widespread disruption.
