Israel orders Beirut suburbs to evacuate immediately
The Israeli military commanded hundreds of thousands of residents in southern Beirut to flee their homes instantly. Huge traffic queues developed as people escaped the area following official reports of 102 recent deaths. Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem promised to resist the ongoing air attacks without surrendering. This blanket instruction follows a warning for civilians near the border to depart before an anticipated land invasion.
