Ayatollah's death: 22 killed as US embassy compound faced siege
Pro-Iran protests have led to the deaths of at least 22 people across Pakistan and Iraq. Demonstrators targeted US government buildings in both Karachi and Baghdad following the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In Pakistan, eight people were killed at a rally near the US consulate, and a United Nations office building in Skardu was also burned. Hundreds in Baghdad attempted to storm the American embassy compound.
