Man Dies in Cornwall as Storm Goretti Topples Tree
A man in his 50s died in Mawgan, Helston, Cornwall, after a tree fell on a caravan during Storm Goretti on Thursday. Emergency services responded to the incident around 7:35 PM GMT. The man was found deceased inside the caravan, and his family has been notified. The death is not considered suspicious. Storm Goretti brought winds up to 100mph, causing widespread damage and power outages, with thousands still without electricity on Saturday.
