Britain Starts Vote To Pick Favourite Butterfly
Nature groups hope the public contest will increase interest in protecting species threatened by habitat loss and climate change. A nationwide vote launched on Friday to choose Britain’s favourite butterfly, with organisers inviting people to select from 60 species. The list includes the peacock, red admiral and brimstone, while voting will remain open until the end of June.
