Dual citizens face entry ban without valid British passport
The UK government has confirmed that from late February, people holding dual nationality will be denied entry unless they travel with a valid British passport. Revised border rules mean foreign passports can no longer be used alongside an electronic travel authorisation. Dual nationals without a UK passport will instead need to buy a certificate of entitlement, priced at almost £600. Critics say the abrupt change could leave citizens stranded abroad and place unnecessary financial strain on families living overseas.
