Sweden accuses Canada of touching curling stone twice

Several curling squads at the 2026 Winter Games face allegations of illegally touching stones after releasing them on the ice. Swedish player Oskar Eriksson confronted Canada's Marc Kennedy about the infraction, and officials later removed a stone thrown by Canadian skip Rachel Homan for the same error. World Curling responded to the disputes by assigning extra umpires to monitor player deliveries more closely during future matches.
