F1 2026 China Sprint challenges teams with one hour practice.

The 2026 Chinese Grand Prix's Sprint race format will significantly challenge Formula 1 teams and drivers. Following a 1-2 finish for Mercedes in Melbourne, teams have only one hour of practice to optimise their cars before this year's first Sprint event. The Australian race earlier saw 120 overtakes, compared to 45 during 2025.
